Description

Maximum quality

Beeswax has multiple uses and applications in industrial and artisan production. It is particularly useful in the formulation of creams, lip balms, ointments and medicinal ointments, in the manufacture of protective and waterproofing waxes, in the protection of food products, in the manufacture of candles, etc. Due to the existence of waxes with additives, it is important to remember that for these uses, beeswax must be 100% pure and natural.

Our whitened beeswax pellets are approved by the European Pharmacopoeia. Due to its characteristics and specifications, this natural wax is suitable for application as a food additive, pharmaceutical or cosmetic use. Its white color is appropriate for manufacturing applications where the color of the final product should not be modified.

We also supply uncertified whitened beeswax pellets, which are more competitive for other uses.

Pellet form

The pellet format facilitates the melting process of beeswax, which naturally has a high hardness and medium melting point (62-65 °C).

White color

Commercial beeswax is produced in the wax glands of the Apis mellifera bee. When freshly excreted, the wax is white in color; later, when mixed with pollen, it obtains its yellow color. Although in some applications this characteristic shade is desirable, in many cases white beeswax is preferred as it can be mixed with other materials without altering its color.

Wax whitening is achieved by exposure to the sun or through the use of chemicals and results in a product that retains the main characteristics of beeswax but is white in color.

We also supply pure yellow beeswax pellets.
