Polishes
Waxes are key components in the polish industry, providing protection, shine, and durability to various surfaces. Among the most commonly used are carnauba wax, candelilla wax, beeswax, and palm wax, all with applications in the protection and enhancement of materials such as wood.
Carnauba wax
Carnauba wax is valued for its hardness and high melting point. Its main applications in polishes include:
- Car polishing. It provides a deep shine and protects the paint against dirt, water, and UV rays, while also enhancing resistance to scratches and other damage.
- Furniture polishing. It offers a smooth and shiny finish to wood, while protecting it from moisture, stains, and daily wear.
Carnauba wax emulsion in floor polishes
Carnauba wax emulsions are ideal for floor polishing due to their ability to form a strong and glossy film. These emulsions provide effective protection against mechanical abrasion, dirt, and water, making them great allies for the maintenance of high-traffic surfaces.
At Ceras Martí, we offer two types, according to their specific applications:
- Glossy carnauba wax emulsion. Provides a high-gloss finish that enhances appearance and facilitates floor cleaning. Ideal for surfaces where a polished and elegant look is desired, such as in homes, offices, and stores.
- Anti-slip carnauba wax emulsion. Specially designed for high-traffic public areas, this variant not only grants shine but also a non-slip layer that ensures safety in environments such as hospitals, schools, hotels, and other places where safety is a priority.
Both emulsions are valued for their durability and ease of application, ensuring that floors maintain an impeccable and protected appearance over the long term.
Other waxes
- Candelilla wax. Known for its flexibility and film-forming capability, candelilla wax is used in polishes requiring a combination of smoothness and durability. Ideal for furniture polishing.
- Beeswax. Nourishes and protects surfaces in a gentle yet effective manner. Offers a protective layer that hydrates, seals, and gives a shiny finish to wooden furniture.
