Natural, organic raw material obtained from the secretion of the sebaceous glands of sheep.
Once the wool is extracted, it is cleaned and centrifuged to obtain the wool fat, and it is refined and deodorized to obtain the cosmetic and pharmaceutical grade.
Orange in color, greasy and with a slight characteristic odor.
Esters of fatty acids and fatty alcohols, obtained by refining wool fat (Stabilized with BHT).
High purity and refined, even traces of pesticides are practically undetectable.

Euro Farma anhydrous lanolin is a waxy, orange substance obtained from sheep’s wool after a refining process. It is highly appreciated in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries for its ability to retain water and form a protective barrier on the skin, which prevents dryness and maintains skin hydration.
It has an approximate melting point of 38-44 °C, which makes it easily malleable at moderate temperatures. It is insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents.
Lanolin is a natural fat produced by the sebaceous glands of sheep and which covers their fur. It is obtained during the washing process of raw wool. This raw material, after being subjected to a refining process to reduce its water content and eliminate impurities such as solid particles, wool residues, salts and other compounds, is transformed into anhydrous lanolin (“without water”).
The main stages of the refining process are:
Among our products, we have several types of lanolin: anhydrous Eur Ph lanolin and raw lanolin.
The choice between them will depend on the specific needs of each application.
While raw lanolin is the unrefined form obtained directly from sheep’s wool, anhydrous Eur Ph lanolin is refined.
Each has different characteristic uses:
