Emul CC 40

Carnauba wax is a type of natural wax derived from the leaves of the carnauba palm (Copernicia prunifera), which is native to Brazil. This wax is known for its hardness and shine and is used in various applications due to its unique properties.

When a carnauba wax emulsion is created, it is mixed with water and other ingredients to form a homogeneous suspension, which broadens its possible uses. 

Properties of Emul CC 40 Carnauba Wax Emulsion

Shine and scratch resistance

Carnauba wax emulsion is commonly used as a polishing agent in products to give them a long-lasting shine and protect the surface against damage.

Waterproofing

Carnauba wax is hydrophobic. When used in an emulsion, it provides waterproofing properties to the surface on which it is applied.

UV protection

Carnauba wax also offers protection against ultraviolet (UV) damage. This makes it suitable for use in car care products and other exterior coatings.

Adhesion

Properly diluted, it can be applied to a variety of surfaces. Its ability to adhere makes it useful for sealing and protection.

Uses of Emul CC 40 carnauba wax emulsion
