Paraffin with a VERY LOW MELTING POINT, semi-opaque in solid state, completely refined and odourless, with a low oil content and high hardness.
Suitable for technical, industrial and chemical applications.
Because of its technical characteristics, one of its principal applications is in the manufacture of paraffin candles in transparent glass.
We recommend adding our additive VYBAR 260, for an opaque and stain-free finish. We have paraffin-soluble dyes, for the manufacture of candles of different colours.

Due to their excellent properties and great versatility, paraffins have endless applications in the manufacture of various products. However, in order to achieve the desired objective, it is important to choose wisely.
Refined paraffin 48-50 °C has a very low melting point, is white in its solid state, completely refined and deodorized, with a low oil content and high hardness. Its specific areas of application are described below.
Industrial applications
In industrial production, it is recommended for processes that require a paraffin with a very low melting point and that provides chemical stability and resistance to humidity. This paraffin is suitable for wood processing and in the manufacture of anticorrosive agents or paints.
Candle manufacturing
Thanks to its low melting point, one of the main applications of this paraffin wax is the manufacture of candles in transparent glasses, an extremely popular product on the market today.
When making candles in glass, the quality of the wax is paramount. For this reason, we recommend adding our VYBAR 260 additive, which delivers an opaque and stain-free finish.
On the other hand, this wax accepts fragrances very well, making it ideal for making scented candles.
Last but not least, it is also possible to add color to paraffin candles with our paraffin-soluble dyes. They are the perfect complement to make candles that stand out for their brightness and color.
