Description: Refined Paraffin 52º-54ºC
How to choose the right paraffin
Refined paraffins are extremely useful and versatile products, with a wide range of uses and applications in industry. However, in order to achieve the desired objective and obtain the maximum potential from this material, it is important to choose the right paraffin wax.
To do so, factors such as purity, melting point and color must be taken into account.
Refined paraffin wax 52-54 °C is a paraffin with a medium-low melting point, white in its solid state, fully refined and deodorized, with a low oil content and high hardness. Its main applications are described below.
Industrial applications
Due to its hardness and flexibility as well as its high compatibility with other components, this type of paraffin is suitable for the cork, paper and adhesive (hotmelts) industries.
Candle manufacturing
This paraffin wax is perfect for making candles by casting and extrusion. To achieve an opaque finish without stains, we recommend using our VYBAR 260 additive.
What’s more, this wax accepts fragrances and colors very well, rendering it an excellent choice for making scented and colored candles. We have a wide range of paraffin-soluble dyes, which are perfect for making candles that stand out for their color.
